Scoundrel & Scamp Theatre
My Life in Sports January 2019 Sound Designer, Composer, Video Programmer A one-man show, written, presented, and told by Bill Epstein, tells the story of his life as whole–his childhood, first love, last love, and other events, all with the idea of sports in mind. Sports played a large part in Bill's life, but not in the way you'd expect. Even though there were specific cues for licensed music in the script, the transitions needed something more, and something authentic. What better authenticity than that of a raw acoustic guitar. The feeling of the show resided in this idea of "being at home." The melodies and choral structures expressed on the acoustic guitar adhere to the telling of this story.
