Sound Designer, Engineer (A1), Video Programmer
This production called for a heavy use of video, including but not limited to: small town stills, moving lights, flames, interiors, and more. I had the privilege of programming the video cues in to synchronize with the backing tracks used. All using QLab, each video sequence was directly embedded into the time structure of each song, and allowed for easy automation and show control.
We used two projectors, which were aligned using QLab to create as much of a seamless, wide-screen backdrop as we could. Using edge-points in the surface editor of QLab, I was able to move the corners until they aligned almost perfectly on the screen.
